- With so much moved online recently, people have faced the challenge of coaching and developing their team virtually. It's possible to create really powerful environments that facilitate change virtually. To make it as effective as possible, there are three traits that as a manager you can help to develop in your people to make this future coaching and development easier. The first trait is that of openness. If someone is completely closed, then it's extremely hard to partner with them to help them move forward.
