- [Guest] We call it the focusing question. What's the one thing I can do such that by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary? And to break it down it's what's the one thing, not two or three. You're asking your mind to come up with the singular best thing that you can do. Not that you could, should, or would. Because in any journey just start with what you can already do and get the feedback cycle going. That's that one tooth, or one pushup, or one mile. Start with that and then build on that. Such that by doing it just says that it's got to have some Prato's law in there, right? It's got to have some leverage. If you knock over one thing it's got to have multiple impacts on the other side. And the scale of that leverage is everything else gets easier and necessary.
