Adding comments to the code

Adding comments to the code: Learning C
Adding comments to the code: Learning C

You can use comments in your code to add notes for yourself or others. Comments in C start with the slash and asterisk characters and end with the asterisk and slash characters. All text between the comment's starting and ending characters are ignored by the compiler. You can split a comment between lines. A second type of comment starts with two slashes and effects only text on the current line. Comments can be used to disable parts of your code, which helps with troubleshooting and debugging.
