Adding C shapes to stringers

- [Instructor] Since stringers are not just normally a 51-millimeter wide blob of metal, we sometimes need to make alterations to the specific framing we want to use. So, by loading in a simple profile, we're able to make the adjustments for it to fit our stairs. In Revit, I'm going to go to Structural-40. Go to Insert. Let's click Load Family. Scroll down to Profiles. Let's go into Framing. Let's go to Steel. Let's grab M_C-Channel-Profile. And click Open. For the profile, I want to grab 230X19.9 right here. Let's click OK. Notice that if we hover over these stairs, they're kind of grouped together 'cause they're multistory. Let's just grab this staircase 'cause it's kind of independent. Any change we make to this will reflect these as well. So select this staircase. Click Edit Type. For Supports, for Right Support, Right Support Type, click into here and click on the little browse button. Let's rename…
