Adding beam systems

- [Instructor] With the perimeter framed and in place we can now fill in the gaps. To add our filler beams we can simply use what's called the beam system. Just specify the beam type and the spacing, and you're off. In Revit I'm going to open Structural-18. Go to Level Two. I want to fix this framing here. So let's select these beams and their tags by holding down the control key. Let's click move. Let's go nearest to that column line. We're going to get an unjoin problem. Just click Unjoin Elements. Now let's do the same for these. And these, too. Let's click move. Going to move this to here. Unjoin Elements, that's fine. Hit escape a few times. It's a little bit of a mess in here. That's okay. Now, I'm going to add filler beams here. Go to the Structure tab, click on Beam System. For the Beam Type, let's grab UB254. We can center them. Let's do maximum spacing. We can just keep that at 1828.…
