Adding line loads
- [Instructor] Let's place a load that is basically line based. We do this by using a similar methodology as we do when we place basic components into our model. In this video I'd like to place that AHU load we made into our model. Let's jump into Revit. In the project browser let's scroll down where it says Penthouse. Let's open that up. Now because we're in a model view we're not going to be able to do what we want to do here. So I'm going to right click on Penthouse, duplicate view. Let's just click on Duplicate. Let's rename Penthouse Copy 1, let's call it Penthouse Analytical. And hit enter. Right click on Penthouse Analytical. Let's apply template properties. Select structural, analytical, isolated, click OK. Here we go. Now, zoom in on this area here, go to the Analyze tab. Let's click on Loads. There's a few different things we can do. We can do point loads, line loads, area loads, we've done those.…
