- [Instructor] When beams traveled through other beams, what are we to do? Well, what we're going to do is this. We're going to model two intersecting beams and look at how we can cut holes in them. In Revit, under Models. Let's go New. For the template file, we'll grab Metric Structural Template. Then, click OK. On the Structure Tab, let's click on Beam. Let's make this a big one. Grab this a UB 406 by 178 by 60. Model like that. Let's put another one crossing through it. Let's make this a smaller one to 54. Cross through just like that and hit escape a few times. Let's go with a 3D view. Let's set our detail level to fine and let's set our visual style to realistic. Big beam, little beam. I want to knock this beam down a little bit though. So let's select this beam here. Let's give it a Z offset value. Let's say minus 50. Hit escape a couple of times. Okay. Now, let's go to the Steel Tab. Let's click…
