Adding perimeter beams

- [Instructor] Let's start adding some steel beams for our model. The first type of beams I'd like to add are the larger perimeter beams that surround the smaller beam systems or the filament. I am going to click Open for my models, I'm going to browse to where I'm keeping my exercise files, and I'll grab Structural-17, and then I'll click Open. Under Structural Plans, Let's jump up to level two. In our Properties, I want to scroll down to View Template for Floor Plan Coordination, click on that. I'm going to click on None and click OK. Now, zoom in over here. Let's go to the Structure tab. Let's click Beam, click our drop-down here, Let's grab UB356x171x51. For tag, let's make sure we click Tag on Placement. I'm going to pick a point here, pick a point here, hit Escape couple times. I don't want to see the entire beam, so for our detail level, let's set it to Coarse. Let's click Beam again.
