- [Instructor] As we are starting to see, there are quite a few settings that can be configured to get the results we want. The objective of this video is to create default bends for the ends of our reinforcing. Let's jump into our structural project. Let's go to section footing 13. And the first thing I want to do, is on the structure tab, on the reinforcement panel, click the reinforcement pull down. Let's go to reinforcement settings. Now under general, notice that we can't change it here, but we want to include hooks and rebar shape definition, and include end treatments in rebar shape definition, either welded or threaded. We can't change these here like I said, but these come into play when we start placing rebar. Reinforcement rounding, so our bar length, it's going to just round it to a specific increment, or we can uncheck use reinforcement rounding, and we click okay and it's going to kind of gray it out.
