Adding reinforcing to a precast element
- [Instructor] Continuing on from our first two videos, and now that we have chopped up our walls into panels, we can now start adding reinforcing. Of course, there are always some settings we should look at first. So let's do that, then add our rebars. I'm jumping back into my Syracuse Commons model. Let's go to the pre-cast tab and under reinforcement, notice that there's a little pull down. We can go to CFS Config, go ahead and click that, custom fabric sheet configuration. Maximum length, maximum length, 10,000 millimeters, that's pretty long. So if we look down through, I'm going to take our defaults, it's kind of funny how it's mixing metric and imperial units. I'm not quite sure why it does that, but note that we can just make the translation. I like to click on the minimum two welding points for a wire, maximum overlap, 25 millimeters.
