- [Instructor] Once again we're staying in our annotation.dwg file, and we're going to place a different type of annotation this time. We're going to place an AutoCAD table. Now, just before we do that, go to the home tab on the ribbon. And if you go to the layers panel and click on the drop down, we'll see that we don't have a layer available to place our table on. So we're going to create a new layer. So we go to layer properties here, click on it like so, and then that'll lose the drop down menu, click again, that'll open up the layer properties manager. And as you can see the pallet opens and shows us all the layers. We go to this icon here, where we click and new layer comes up with a default name of Layer 1. We'll just call that tables. And then we'll go to the color here, click on the color box, and we'll set that to the red color there to match the text and the dimensions. Make sure you're using a…
