Editing Splines
- [Instructor] One of the great things about the 3ds Max modifier stack is the ability to edit at a low level of the stack and see the end result after all the modifiers have been applied. In this situation, it means we can edit the shape of our line and see the end result of the 3d lathe simultaneously. Select that object and go into the modify panel, and, in the line base object, activate vertex sub-object mode, and with show end result turned off, we don't see the 3d geometry. If we turn on show end result, now we can see our 3d object, position our perspective view a bit so we can see that as if we were actually in the room looking at it. Now, I can select the vertices in the front view and move them around. Select that, go to the select and move tool, and move this one out in x. Move this one around also in x. On this one, I wanna edit the tangent handles. If I click on the handle, you'll notice that the gizmo does not move to the location of the handle for a line object, and…
