Applying for an apprenticeship?
- [Bridget] Applying for a registered apprenticeship program in the construction trades is a little different than applying to other industries. A well-crafted portfolio will give you a competitive edge in the application process. This course will break a trades portfolio down into individual building blocks so that you can then take those pieces and construct your own. We will take a look at some of the key components of a trades portfolio, provide examples, and talk about what else to include. I'm Bridget Quinn, I have 20 years of experience in the electrical industry and eight years of experience in workforce development, mentoring and guiding career-seekers in their application to apprenticeship programs. I am happy to continue to aid those interested in a satisfying career in construction. Please join me in this course as you prepare for your own dynamic career.
