Applying transparency to layers
- [Instructor] Once again we're staying in our 00 Ground 1031 Southeast Madison.dwg file, and we're zoomed in to that highlighted area with our Highlight BOUNDARY that we've created, putting it on the appropriate layer, giving it a color, a line type, and a line weight. We're now going to look at how we're going to fill the boundary with color to highlight it in the drawing. So we're going to change our current drafting layer. So you'll remember we created a different highlight layer, didn't we? So if I jump in the layer dropdown, it's Highlight FILL, this one here. So we're going to select Highlight FILL and make that the current drafting layer. Now, this is where it gets a little bit clever, because we can either have a transparent hatch or a transparent layer. I want to show you how to make a layer transparent.
