- [Instructor] I've heard this a lot. This project is too small to do BIM on. Okay, so we're going to do it in AutoCAD? So what's the criteria for small 20,000 square feet and under? That's too bad, too, because I thought we were replacing the old, inefficient AutoCAD with Revit. Let's look at some bullet points. Alright, it's not just BIM, it's Revit. It's a software that you or your firm has invested countless of hours and thousands of dollars on. It's awesome for small projects. Those are the easy ones. Why be half good at two different programs when you standardize on something, standardize. You don't have to go all the way. Meaning, if it's such a small project then, well, maybe you should use the tools in Revit that are useful for that situation. The simple stuff. The sheets, the sectioning, the elevations, the automatic schedules, you know, the good stuff. Ha, how many times have I heard that? I've had to convert more projects over to Revit 60% of the way through than I care to…
