- One area of focus for businesses that have remained open during the pandemic is staying clean, meaning paying attention to the surfaces people touch, making sure those surfaces get cleaned and sanitized more frequently than they would have in the past, and then providing more frequent handwashing and sanitizing opportunities. These things have been ingrained into our way of thinking over the course of the pandemic. Restaurants and grocery stores that have remained open have emphasized more frequent cleaning of shared spaces and high touch areas. People have been encouraged to wash their hands more frequently and more thoroughly or to use hand sanitizer more frequently. I think these things have become so ingrained into the way that we think that they will be expected as people return to the office. We've grown so accustomed to seeing signs and information about more frequent cleaning that I think it will concern people…
