- [Instructor] I'm going to use a profanity that used to make me really anxious back in the good old AutoCAD days, explode. I'm sure the people working on this update made a conscious decision to avoid that word but that's basically what we're doing. So let's do just that. Let's add a fitting and break that sucker. In Revit under models, I'm going to go new. For the template file, I'll use Metric Structural Template. Click "Okay." You know what we're going to do now, don't ya? Go to the structure tab, click "Beam." Let's draw a little T-shaped beam. Go to a 3D view. Set the detail level to fine. Set your visual style to realistic. Let's click on connection settings. Let's grab our favorite clip angle. Add it. Click "Okay." Click "Connection." Click the drop down here. Let's select "Clip angle." Select this beam. Hold on your Ctrl key, select this beam, hit enter. Okay. Now I am going to do…
