Can you read electrical system drawings and schematics?

- [Instructor] Anyone who wants to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems must rely on electrical drawings, schematics, and other diagrams to understand the layout of conductors, raceways, and all the components of that system. Engineers, designers, and other electrical systems professionals rely on accurate drawings to create a distribution system, a circuit, and other connection diagrams. Electricians must understand these drawings and diagrams and how they work. In this course, we're going to look at electrical blueprints including electrical plans, one line diagrams, riser diagrams, details, and schedules. We're also going to examine wiring diagrams such as ladder diagrams, logic diagrams, and other logic-related schematics. Hi, my name is Chris Randall and I'm an electrician and electrical contractor. Join me in this course where will explore some of the most popular types of schematics and drawings that electricians use to build and maintain electrical systems.
