Physical copies of any certifications and awards that you listed in your resume will help to prove and to underline your experience. If you no longer have a physical copy of your certification, request one from the institution that provided the training. If your certification is expired, but less than three years old, include it but note that it is expired. The training received is still knowledge that you acquired. Letter sized items may be presented full sized. Smaller items may be copied onto one page. Keep in mind that most apprenticeship staff will need to file your application and portfolio, so avoid large portfolio display folders. Do not include your originals as they may not be returned to you.
