- [Instructor] You know what? That wide flange shape that these tresses are using aren't really doing it for me. I want to change these to a lumber truss. By loading some nominal sizes of lumber, we can go into a truss setting and force the truss to actually look better. Let's do it. In Revit, I'm going to open my model Trusses-03. Not a huge fan of the wide flange. So that's okay. Let's go to the Insert tab. Let's click Load Family. I'm going to scroll out of my Structural Trusses Directory, scroll down to Find Structural Framing. Let's go to Wood. Let's go to M_DimensionalLumber. I can expand this dialogue by pulling it down a little bit. I can drag my Type over. So I'm going to grab 64x235. Let's click OK. Now select any one of your trusses. Remember, if we hover over it, and you see that blue dotted line, that means you're going to select the actual truss, which is what we want. I'm going to select this…
