Coloring storyboards

- I'm always amazed at how complicated some artists make coloring their black and white and their scanned images. You know, it's actually very easy and you can do it without losing your line quality. So let's take a look at Photoshop here. Now, this is the scanned image of what I was just showing you, and it's one background layer. Now, I don't want to color on this 'cause as you see, it covers up my lines and I don't want to do that. So, this is very quick. I'm just going to drag my background layer down to over layer so I can copy it. I'm going to turn off the background layer. And then in between them, I'm going to add a new blank layer. Now I can start coloring on the blank layer, but look, you're not seeing anything. Why? Because I need to take the top layer, which has a white background, and I'm going to change this to multiply. Going back to the coloring layer, I color under the lines and look at that.…
