Combining massing elements

- [Instructor] Last week we modeled a 20-story building by creating a grid and using massing. Let's keep going with massing. In this case, what I'd like to do is join two masses together then make one avoid and cut out the other mass. Under models, go to new. For the template file, click architectural template, then click OK. Go to massing and site, go to in place mass. Revit has enabled the show mass mode, so the newly created mass will be visible. That's exactly what we want. Hit close, we'll now be able to see our mass. We can call it Mass One, that's lazy, but works. Great, now let's just draw a bunch of lines. Whatever you want to do. Perfect. Hit Escape a few times. Now if you hover over this, it should all be one continuous object. Let's go to a 3D view and check it out. Select this continuous object. Notice that we can just create a form based on the geometry that's there now. So click create form.…
