- [Instructor] For the purposes of this discussion, an expectation is an understanding of what needs to be done to complete a project properly, as well as the reason we have that expectation of what needs to be accomplished. Since we need to define what needs to be done, communicate what needs to be done, then do what needs to be done, we need to review various ways to establish and communicate expectations properly and effectively.
