Configuring the connection settings
- I love this part now to the good stuff, the steel tab. I love this tab cause we can now efficiently model connections in Revit. Where before we didn't even try to spend that much time creating this stuff. So let's take a look at how we can get some connections loaded into our model. In Revit, under models let's go new. For the template file, let's grab metric structural template. Click okay. Now to get to our configurations, you can either go to the steel tab or you can go to the structure tab and you have connections here as well. Let's go to the steel tab cause that's where we're going to spend most of our time in this chapter. For connections, notice that this panel has a little connection drop down. Let's make sure we show warnings in views. It also has a little fly out here, our connections settings. So click connection settings. And here's all of our connections.
