- [Instructor] It seems these days that we aren't really creating too many brand new buildings out in the middle of a field somewhere. It's usually an addition or rehab project we find ourselves dealing with, more often than not. It also seems to be that some folks think Revit stinks at showing phasing correctly. I disagree. This week, I'd like to show you how I deal with basic phasing on a project. Let's jump into Revit. Now I'm going to go to open, I'm going to browse for where I'm keeping my exercise files. Again, you can grab any file you're working on that you want to put phasing on. I'm going to click open. Now the first thing I'd like to do is deal with the phasing. So if we go to our manage tab, we can click on phases. By default, there's existing and then there's new construction. I like to add a phase in between here called demolition.
