Cover letter

- Anytime that you send your resume in to a firm particularly, if you're sending it online and you're not sure who's going to be reading that resume I always like to send a cover letter with that resume. The cover letter should introduce who you are, and why you're interested in the role. It also should have some of the very top skills that this company, and this role, may find to be important. Ideally, the cover letter should also feel personal. While your actual resume or CV may be very technical and to the point about certain things that you've done your cover letter should be more of a personal conversation so that they get a feeling of what your personality is, and what your fit within the organization may be. Then it should end with a statement that's something along the lines of "looking forward to discussing with you," and then finishing off that sentence.
