- [Instructor] I hate it when our steel is exposed. That means it's got to look nice. What I'd like to do in this video is look at how we can get our beam ends to miter. We'll look at a couple of different scenarios, as well. For example, if we have a tube steel situation, and we zoom in here, generally, you don't want that opening. Or, maybe, you do. We can configure which end extends to where. Or, if we look down here, we can just figure out if we'll have to miter it or not. Also, if we look at a 45 degree corner, we can see how to miter this, too. So, to get started, let's jump into Revit, and under Projects, let's start a new structural template. Let's go to the Structure tab, and what I'd like to do is let's create a grid. So, I'm going to click on Grid, draw a grid line here. I'm going to turn on the top bubble.
