Creating an assembly
- [Instructor] Now that we have an understanding of what makes up a corridor, as well as what makes up an assembly, it's time to create an assembly. Because without having an assembly in place we can't create a corridor. We need those three things, the alignment, the profile, or at least something, such as a feature line, to create a horizontal and vertical baseline, as well as that cross section that we're going to apply to that length or linear path. And that's what we have in an assembly. So let's create an assembly in this exercise. We're going to open our Exercise File, that's 08 03 Assembly. And from the Home ribbon we're going to create an assembly from the Create Design panel. So the middle right is an option to create an assembly, we're going to chose that, and we're going to name this assembly Main Road. Now there's a few different types of assemblies here.
