- [Narrator] So we just did two videos on parts, I want to do another one. Parts are just for aesthetics, parts are actually for detailing. Let's take a look. In Revit under models, let's go new. From a template file I'll grab my favorite architectural template, let's click okay. On the architecture tab, let's click wall. Let's grab my favorite wall, exterior brick and CMU on metal stud. Draw your wall. Select it. Create parts. Okay, cool. Notice this is a good way to show all the parts without setting your detail level to fine. That's not what I want to show you though. On the quick access toolbar, click the section button. Section thorough this bad boy. Hit escape a couple times. Open the section up. Let's increase our scale and get three quarter of an inch equals a foot. Parts visibility, show parts, click apply. Notice that these are parts. So we can select these individually.
