Creating an exploded view

- [Instructor] There's this thing in Revit that's pretty cool. We can make exploded view by clicking on Displace Parts. Let's check it out. Let's start a new Architectural model. On the Architecture tab, let's draw a staircase. Click on Stair. I'd like to pick a point for here maybe to here. I'll give it a landing, a big eight foot landing. I'll bring it out to there. Simple staircase. I'm gonna click Finish. Go to a 3D view. We can pan around. Now we can see our staircase. I'm gonna delete the railing for clarity. If you can tab onto a part, you can displace it. Hover over that string or hit tab, hit tab again, and select it. Notice that we can click on Displace Elements. Click Displace Elements and it will give us a little gizmo. I'm gonna pull out my stringer, gonna hit Escape a couple times. Now it's kinda neat, if we select our stringer, we can click path. If I click on the ends of this, it will show me the path of origin.
