- [Narrator] Shallow Footings are basically footings, but not just full depth. Usually, there's nothing more than thick and concrete under exterior masonry walls. Normally, however, they do have bevels on either side. What we're going to do in this video is create a line based family. Then we're going to add two separate bevels to either side and put visibility parameters on them. We had started. Let's jump into Revit. Under Families, let's go New. Press your Region. Let's scroll down to generic model line based. Click Open. Essentially, we're going to make a sweep. But the entire family is going to be performed, essentially, in this left view, looking at it this way. So let's do that. In the Private Browser, under Elevations, let's go to left. Okay. Now, this will be top of concrete. I'm going to right click on this reference plan, you go to Create Similar. On the draw panel, let's click Pick Lines. For the…
