- [Instructor] Okay, this one is pretty cool. Wouldn't it be great if we could break a wall up into layers and peel those layers back and even label them in a 3D view? Huh, well, we can. Not only can we do that, but we can do it in a way where we don't need to model anything extra. All we need to do is set the view properties to show parts. So let's do it. Let's make some parts. In Revit, under models, let's go, new. For the template file, I'll grab architectural template, then click okay. Let's go to level one in the project browser. On the architecture tab, let's click wall. For the wall, let's have something cool. Let's go brick and CMU on metal stud. I think there's enough here to really display parts well. I'm just going to draw a series of walls in. No rhyme or reason. Like that. How's that? Hit escape a couple times. Let's do this. Let's pop a floor in too. On the architecture tab, click the floor…
