Creating a pier tag

- [Instructor] Revit does come preloaded with a few tags, but a lot of times the information in em, isn't quite what we need. The objective of this video is to tag a pier and a footing with an existing tag, and then we're going to modify those tags and read the type mark of each element. In Revit, on the models, I'm going to go open, browse through where I'm keeping my exercise files, and I'm going to grab Structural 55. Of course, as always, you can open any model you want. In the project browser under structural plans, let's go down to top of footing. I'm going to zoom in on any one of these footings. Go to the annotate tab. Notice that we have a tag by category button right here. Also we have tag by category here on our quick access toolbar cause it's such a popular command.
