- It used to be that we had to add pre-cast plank or girder slabs, manually piece by piece. Now we don't have to. In this video, I'd like to pick on a slab. So what we need to do is jump into our Syracuse Commons Model. Let's zoom in on one of our floors, now, I don't care which one it is. I'm going to select my floor right here. Now what we need to do is on the precast tab, let's split it up. Click on split. For the floor type, we could go solid slab, hallow core slab or we can go to girder slab. Let's go to girder slab. Let's click okay. Set the assembly parts, and then, bam, broken up. But let's take a look at our configuration and see what it did. Let's go to configuration. When you go to slabs, see solid slab, girder slab. We'll see that we can set our minimum and our maximum width. Our reinforcement. So our reinforcement type girder slab one. Click edit.
