- [Instructor] In this video, I'd like to control a yes no parameter using an if statement. So to get started, under families, let's go new. I'll just grab a generic model, then I'll click open. Let's make a simple extrusion. I'm not going to put any parameters on it. Click extrusion. I'm going to click rectangle. Just going to pick a rectangle. I'm going to click finish. Hit escape a few times, select your extrusion and click copy. I'll just copy it over here a little bit. And we'll hit escape a few times. Now I want to be able to just type in a number to show one or the other. Select this extrusion. For visible, click on the associate family parameter button. Let's click on the new parameter button. Let's call it show first. Then click okay, click okay, select this little guy. For visible, click associate family parameter. Let's go to new parameter, let's call that show second. Then click okay.
