- [Instructor] Okay, now we can get into it. The first family I'm always asked to make is that little triangular shape that is basically a blob of concrete, cast against the earth in a step footing situation. Especially this little chunk right here. But you see what we're going to do, if we select this little chunk of concrete, notice that that's independent from the entire footing. If I click Edit Type, notice that I've got all these parameters in here that we're about to make. This is the safest way to do a family. So we're going to make a family. We're going to load it into the project and we're going to combine it with our wall steps. Okay, so, to get started under families, let's go New. I'm going to go to English Imperial.
