Customizing the Status Bar

- [Narrator] We're staying in our drawing, our 00-GND-1031 Southeast Madison.dng file. And we're looking at the status bar. I'm going to take you through how to customize your status bar in a little bit more detail. Now, you can see I've got the crosshair on the screen. If I start typing a command, you'll notice because I've got Dynamic Input switched on. I automatically get the text appearing near the crosshair, and my suggestion menu appears, as you can see on the screen. I'll just hit escape a couple of times. Now, the reason that appears is my Dynamic Input is switched on. Now, Dynamic Input is a really important function in newer versions of AutoCAD. But, weirdly enough it's not switched on, on the status bar by default. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to go down to the customization icon that I mentioned in the previous video. And we scroll up and down the list looking for Dynamic Input. It's near the top.…
