- [Instructor] I want to do more with parts. One really cool thing is we can actually do a cutaway view, as well. Let's jump into Revit, under models let's go new. Let's go to our architectural template, let's click OK. This time I'll just draw one wall, so click wall. For the wall type, let's go exterior brick and CMU and metal stud. Pick a point here, pick a point here, hit escape a few times, nothin' special. Let's set our detail level to fine, select the wall, click create parts. (clicking) Let's go to a 3D view. Just by virtue of creating parts alone is pretty cool, like if we go to visual style realistic, and for parts visibility, we show parts, click apply. I think that alone is pretty awesome. Even shows the air space in there as a gap. So here's what I want to do. Let's go to our south elevation. Under parts visibility, let's show parts, click apply. Select this big ol' brick part.
