Daylighting with Physical Sky

- [Instructor] The Arnold Physical Sky environment texture provides a simulated daylighting solution, giving illumination and a backdrop. We'll need to assign the Ai Physical Sky to a Skydome light. I've got that created already so let's select it in the viewport. Open its attributes with Control + A. In the Skydome light attributes, let's map something to the color. Click on Create Render Node. In the Create Render Node dialog, go to Arnold, Texture, click Environment, then click Ai Physical Sky. The Physical Sky environment is assigned as the color of that Skydome light. Let's do a rendering. Go over to camera north. Click in that viewport, and choose Arnold, Render. We see that indeed, we do have a background and some illumination. It's just quite dim. We can increase the Skydome illumination in its attributes. We can increase the exposure. Bring it up to a value of five, which is going to result in 16…
