In the last decade, the number of building-related job descriptions, including LEED credentials as a desired professional designation have been increasing. A study by Pearson showed that demand for LEED professionals in the US grew 46% during the 12-month period between March 2013 and February 2014. LEED credentials are no longer just nice to have, but strongly recommended to be held, since a significant number of new building projects, as well as existing buildings now pursue LEED certification.
