- [Instructor] Design, construction and manufacturing create the three facets of our built environment's impact on our natural resources and society at large. Each plays an equally important role and is closely tied for both positive and negative environmental and social results. Leaving one out of the three, resembles making a three-legged stool with a missing leg and expecting stability. There are two aspects of sustainability for design, construction and manufacturing organizations. The first one is the green services and products, offered to clients and customers, to help them with their sustainability efforts.
