Design custom built-in millwork
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to add some custom millwork to the bathroom. First of all, I'm thinking about the stackable washer and dryer and how it's against this interior partition. We need a little space here to accommodate the dryer vent which is going to be routed either above the walls or below. So, I'm going to double click on the walls, and press P and select this surface and let's pull it back six inches. Type 6 + Enter. This will give us a cavity in the wall that isn't shown. Which will give us enough space to route that pipe that needs to vent to the exterior of the building. Let's not worry about the technical details of that, but instead focus on the design elements. So let's go over into the toilet room next, and I'll click outside this group to close it. Now I'll use a rectangle and draw it directly on this surface. I'll orbit around so I can see the opposite corner. I'll click down there. Then press P and pull this out, let's make it eight inches deep…
