Digital drawing tips
- I started storyboarding in the 1980s and all of our work was done on paper then. Now I draw all my storyboards digitally and I am never going back. I found the transition to digital drawing almost instantaneous. Now I use this software called Storyboard Pro. Some people use other software created just for storyboarding and others use Photoshop or Clip Studio. Look, use what works for you. But know that many, if not most animation studios, do use Storyboard Pro. So here's a few quick tips to make the most of drawing digitally to get you started. Now, I always draw on layers. So when I start sketching, I'll do my thumbnails as you might've seen on some of the other videos. Then I'll do my cleanup line over it. Digital, I just turn off the underlying layers.
