- [Instructor] Okay, you know I have to combine displacing items with parts, right? I can't just let this thing die on the vine. Let's jump into Revit. Under models let's go new. For the template file, I'd like to grab the Architectural Template and click okay. On the Architecture tab let's select wall, and let's model my favorite exterior brick and CMU on metal stud wall. Pick the point here, pick the point here, hit escape a couple times, go to a 3D view. That is a nice wall. I'm going to duplicate this 3D view. Scroll into 3D views, right click on 3D, duplicate view. Let's just duplicate it, let's rename it, let's call it exploded wall. It's not exploded, that's just what we call this type of view. Okay, couple things we can do. Let's set our visual style to realistic. Let's select our wall, and let's go ahead and create parts. Hit escape a couple times, God I just love doing that. Okay. Let's displace some parts.…
