Distinguished LEED Fellow designation

- [Instructor] LEED Fellow is the most prestigious LEED designation awarded by the GBCI. The LEED Fellow designation was created to honor and recognize LEED APs who have made a significant contribution to LEED, and green building moment at a regional, national, or global level. LEED fellows are nominated by their peers. The eligibility criteria for a nomination include 10 years or more of experience in the green building industry, current LEED AP with specialty credential, have held a LEED professional credential for eight years or more. Few individuals that meet the eligibility criteria can demonstrate exceptionality for the entire 10 years or more. As of this recording, there are approximately 250 LEED Fellows globally. I had become a LEED fellow in 2014. Let me tell you, the application process was not for the faint-hearted.
