- [Instructor] Like transparency, emissivity can produce compelling effects in Unreal. Creating a glow effect around an object or detail is easily and quickly achieved in the Unreal Engine material editor. So let's take a look at how we can apply some glowy effects to some materials here on our guitar model. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to highlight some of these little pickups in here. I'm just going to select one of them and I'll hit F to frame that into view. And I may want to actually bring all three of these into view because we'll be editing all of those. Now what we want to do is we can see that with those selected there, if I take any one of these, that it's using that guitar plastic material that we've been building. So let's stick with that for now. What we want to do is create a whole brand new material. And we'll actually call this a glow material.
