- [Instructor] An underlying theme to everything that we have discussed is respect and trust. If you understand your audience, talk to them as a respected professional. Listen to their concerns. Remember the concerns of the management team and remember where they could push back on specific solutions. Then, develop solutions that not only help the individual but minimize conflicts or the pushback with management and other personnel. Due to the way that you handle the situation through questioning, listening, documenting, and remembering, you will have earned their respect and trust, and you will earn more respect and trust with every beneficial solution that you implement. For everything that I just mentioned, you listen to others to understand their needs. You address their needs.
