- [Narrator] While an internal training is usually the employees that are a part of your part of the organization, what I call an external training is when you perform a training for others not in your organization or individuals billable to a different part of your organization that is not a part of the same business unit or budget as yours. Sometimes training others on best practices or on what your team is doing to create a positive project outcome can be beneficial to all your project partners. It makes those that you train more efficient and better to be able to work with your own team more effectively. And it opens the door of communication where you get feedback to your processes and what the other team is doing to accomplish specific task. From my own experience in our industry, this kind of training just does not happen as often as it should.
