Skill Level Intermediate
- It's been a year unlike any we've ever experienced. I don't need to spell out all the challenges here; we've all lived them, personal and business. With a light now at least somewhat visible at the end of the tunnel, some of us are turning our focus to returning to the physical office environment. The big question on everyone's minds, though, what will that even look like? Lots of people have enjoyed working from home, but many have not. Some will continue to work from home, but many have found that there is a need to get back into the office to see other people, to collaborate in person, to socialize, and to access physical company resources. How will we accommodate this? Is this the end of the open office floor plan? Do we go back to hallways with rows of doors to private offices? Do we even have big company meetings anymore? Facility managers are also facing questions about air quality, sanitizing shared spaces, and they're having to decide how much effort and money to put into making changes that might not even be permanent. That's what this course on LinkedIn Learning is about. Join me as I discuss these issues and challenges and explore some of the potential solutions that you need to be aware of as you prepare your offices and physical workspaces to be ready for people to return.
