- [Narrator] Now I wanna talk about a tool called fill. Now, as far as this tool goes, it's really powerful. Just be very careful with the way you use it, because it can create very heavy surfaces. Think of it as basically a patch. You're trying to just fill in something, it's kind of a quick and dirty thing, you just wanna get something in. Let's say like this three sided surface, fill in the three sided surface, it'll do it. It'll do five sided, six sided, as many open edges as you have, it'll fill those things in. But again, what the surface does internally is very heavy. It'll also create a parametrically rectangular surface. So even if I pick three sides, internally to that surface, it will actually have four sides but it may be much larger than the actual opening that it's filling. So with that, I will go into fill.
